My TBR list for end of July and start of August | Flora’s Week Show 📚

Hello Booklovers! Welcome back to another bookish post! Today, I’m going to be discussing my TBR list for mid July and August. 😊 I hope you all enjoy this post!

When daydreamer Clementine discovers a mysterious house standing in the middle of town that was never there before, she is pulled towards it by the powerful sense of a mother she never knew. The place is full of snowglobes, swirling with stars and snow and each containing a trapped magician, watched over by Gan, the bitter keeper of the house. One of these is Dylan, a boy who teases her in the real world but who is now desperate for her help.

So Clem ventures into the snowglobes, rescuing Dylan and discovering her own powerful connection to the magic of these thousand worlds. Vowing to release the magicians from the control of their enchantments, Clem unknowingly unleashes a struggle for power that will not only put her family, but the future of magic itself in danger.

Nikki Maxwell isn’t at all surprised to find out that her crush Brandon volunteers at a local animal shelter. He’s such a sweet guy – of course he wants to help those adorable puppies!

Then Brandon tells her that the shelter is in danger of closing, and Nikki knows she can’t let that happen. Especially when she discovers a shocking secret about Brandon that makes keeping that shelter open more important than ever.

So Nikki and her friends Chloe and Zoey enter an ice skating competition to help raise money for the shelter, but (big surprise) Mackenzie has to cause trouble so that she can be the one to swoop in and save the day. No way will Nikki let that happen: She’ll just have to come up with some extra creative ideas this time!

April wrap up! {month overview} 📚

Hello friends! ❤️ Welcome back to another book related blog post where I share my book adventures. In this post I’ll be talking about April (a tiny bit late flora …but…) and my April reads and also my May TBR. So without further ado, I hope you enjoy this post!

The first book I read was Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban and I give this book a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/ 5 because I enjoyed it so much! Each page had me hanging and I loved it! The huge plot-twists were so unsurprising and I couldn’t believe my eyes.

The second book that I read was Dork Diaries. I’ve read two all ready in this series and loved them I’m loving this one too! This book had so much more to read and I would give this a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 because I love the writing style and think it’s a very fun book. Here is a picture of the book cover:

This May I’m going to try set lots more goals for reading and also read lots on my TBR. Here are some of my goals for May!

  1. Read at least 3 LONG books- (300+ pages)

  3. Write some book reviews on more books I’ve read

The first goal I set, I’m really, really going to try to do and hopefully succeed (fingers crossed!) My second an third goals, I can complete if I put my mind to them!

My TBR List!

Hello friends!! How is your day going? I hope it’s going good! In today’s post, I’m going to be sharing my TBR (to be read) list. I hope you enjoy!

Alice through the looking glass- Lewis Carroll

I’m so, so excited to start reading this and maybe, when finished, to write a review on here!

Blurb:

Adventure, mayhem, and madness continue for young Alice after she climbs through the mirror hanging above her fireplace’s mantel. Into the reflective world she travels, and soon she discovers that just as everything is backward in a mirror’s reflection, so is everything, from backward sentences to backward logic, in the mirror world. Rank by rank, Alice must cross through an enormous chess board as she meets a fantastical motley crew of creatures, chess pieces, and humans alike. What shall happen when little Alice reaches the end of the chess board?

Diary of a young girl by Anne Frank & Otto Frank

I’ve been loving finding about Anne and her adventures and can’t wait to read this in full depth. This is one of the amazing books I got for my birthday 😀

Blurb

In July 1942, thirteen-year-old Anne Frank and her family, fleeing the occupation, went into hiding in an Amsterdam warehouse. Over the next two years Anne vividly describes in her diary the frustrations of living in such close quarters, and her thoughts, feelings and longings as she grows up. Her diary ends abruptly when, in August 1944, they were all betrayed.

Harry Potter & The prisoner of Azkaban

I’m currently reading the HP series and I’m on chapter 13 of the prisoner of Azkaban! 😀

Blurb

When the Knight Bus crashes through the darkness and screeches to a halt in front of him, it’s the start of another far from ordinary year at Hogwarts for Harry Potter. Sirius Black, escaped mass-murderer and follower of Lord Voldemort, is on the run – and they say he is coming after Harry. In his first ever Divination class, Professor Trelawney sees an omen of death in Harry’s tea leaves… But perhaps most terrifying of all are the Dementors patrolling the school grounds, with their soul-sucking kiss…

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by [J.K. Rowling]

The Witch of Turlingham academy

This book has ben sitting on my shelf for ages and I can’t wait to finally read this!

Blurb

It’s not easy being the only day girl at Turlingham Academy: Sophie misses out on all the midnight feasts and late night gossip. And when new girl Katy turns up it feels like she’s bewitching all of Sophie’s friends!

Katy’s no witch, but there is a witch at Turlingham. Katy comes from a long line of witch hunters whose job is to stop evil magic. Sophie is going to help her – anything to get Katy out of her life and get things back to normal.

Witch of Turlingham Academy: Book 1 by [Ellie Boswell]
