“Heart Stopper” Book 1 mini Review | Flora’s Week Show (Book reviews w/ flora) : )

I love this image ❤

Hello, blogging beans! 💕 How are you? If you are interested, I’m really good and so far having a great year. So far, I’ve been completing one of my main new years’ goals which are going out for a walk every day. ✨

In today’s post, I’m going to be reviewing one of my favourite books that I love. I’ve read the whole series and it was wonderful! The true connection between the two main characters was written wonderfully. 💜 But, without further ado, let’s get into this post. 💫

Blurb: ✨

Charlie and Nick are at the same school, but they’ve never met … until one day when they’re made to sit together. They quickly become friends, and soon Charlie is falling hard for Nick, even though he doesn’t think he has a chance.

But love works in surprising ways, and Nick is more interested in Charlie than either of them realised.

💫 💫 💫

From the moment I picked up this book, I couldn’t put it down and read it in one night. I loved the graphic novel aspect because graphic novels are amazing in my opinion. I picked up this book in my school library and as soon as I read the first page I was hooked. As Charlie and Nick’s love grows, my love for the books progressed. I recommend this book series so much! 👑

*There’s an exciting post coming out tomorrow!*

My TBR list for end of July and start of August | Flora’s Week Show 📚

Hello Booklovers! Welcome back to another bookish post! Today, I’m going to be discussing my TBR list for mid July and August. 😊 I hope you all enjoy this post!

When daydreamer Clementine discovers a mysterious house standing in the middle of town that was never there before, she is pulled towards it by the powerful sense of a mother she never knew. The place is full of snowglobes, swirling with stars and snow and each containing a trapped magician, watched over by Gan, the bitter keeper of the house. One of these is Dylan, a boy who teases her in the real world but who is now desperate for her help.

So Clem ventures into the snowglobes, rescuing Dylan and discovering her own powerful connection to the magic of these thousand worlds. Vowing to release the magicians from the control of their enchantments, Clem unknowingly unleashes a struggle for power that will not only put her family, but the future of magic itself in danger.

Nikki Maxwell isn’t at all surprised to find out that her crush Brandon volunteers at a local animal shelter. He’s such a sweet guy – of course he wants to help those adorable puppies!

Then Brandon tells her that the shelter is in danger of closing, and Nikki knows she can’t let that happen. Especially when she discovers a shocking secret about Brandon that makes keeping that shelter open more important than ever.

So Nikki and her friends Chloe and Zoey enter an ice skating competition to help raise money for the shelter, but (big surprise) Mackenzie has to cause trouble so that she can be the one to swoop in and save the day. No way will Nikki let that happen: She’ll just have to come up with some extra creative ideas this time!

Just For The Summer By Fay Keenan | Flora’s Week Show📚

How’s everyone doing? Today, I’ve got an exciting post for you all because I’m going to share my Mum’s (Fay Keenan) new novel. Just for the Summer is an adult romance full of hearts and smiles. 💕 In this post, I’ll be sharing the blurb. I hope you enjoy!

My photo-

When Kate Harris accepts the job of redecorating her brother Aidan’s house in the picturesque town of Willowbury, she knows it’s just a stop gap before she has to decide what to do with the rest of her life. While her three sons spend the summer holiday with their father, Kate has an opportunity to prove to herself that there is a new life, after her divorce.

Harry Sinclair is the owner of Vale Volumes book shop on Willowbury High Street. Content, if a little bored with his lot, his shop, as well as his life, could do with freshening up. When Kate offers to spruce up Vale Volumes ready for the visit of a famous author, they find they have a lot more in common than colour schemes.

But both have secrets and responsibilities, and when the trials of family life threaten their burgeoning friendship, can they overcome the experiences of their pasts? Will Somerset’s most magical town cast its spell on them? Or will Kate and Harry have to concede that their friendship really is just for the summer?

Let Fay Keenan transport you to the perfect British summertime, with beautiful countryside, an unforgettable romance and just the right dose of escapism. Perfect for all fans of Cathy Bramley, Fern Britton and Katie Fforde.

I hope you enjoyed that! Here is the amazon link:

Thursday cupper with Flora

Hello! Welcome to the first week of Thursday cupper with Flora so grab your cup of tea and I’ll begin.

Q&A with me

I have prepared a few questions you might like to know about me (google questions)

  1. If you could live anywhere, where would that be? – My answer to this is anywhere sunny because where I live it’s really cold in winter.
  2. Have you ever been in the snow? -Yes, as you may know I posted “footprints in the snow” a few weeks ago.

If you have any Q&A questions for next week comment them and I might answer them. 😀

Update on Bertie- I took these photos when he was on the sofa and he should’t have been #posing for the camera

He heard the slightest noise. It was the sound of my foot step
“What are you taking a picture of me for?” #Look cute for the camera
