So, in today’s post, I’m going to be sharing how I write my posts from scratch (Images, text, etc.) 😍 So without further ado, let’s dive into this post!

💫 💫 💫

I use ‘Canva’ for my images and I’ve got some helpful tips for you! Personally, I use a mix of templates and images from scratch. 😂 I love canva and really recommend it. 💕

  • When your in a rush and don’t have time to make a featured image from scratch, use a canva template and customise it. 😇
  • Use some helpful ‘Elements’. Evin has a great post on ‘Living the Blogging Life’ Which you can check out here.

💜 PLANNING POSTS 💜

The very first thing I do In the whole ‘Blogging process’ is planning. Planning is really important and comes in many different aspects. For example, one brief outline of a post written down on a piece of paper or a notes app can help you when writing. I use a notebook to get down ideas when I think of them and then expand. Here are some tips: 💕

-Write down key info for the post ✏️

-Think of title ideas ✨

Generally, planning helps me so, so much when writing a blog post.

💜 What Do I Do While Writing Posts To Stay Focused? 💜

I find that sitting down and writing a post all in one chunk of time is really hard. 😂 So many distractions, my phone is just sitting there… 🙄. To begin I put on some tunes 🎶 and then look over my outline and I find words (did I say that right 😂.)

CREATE A ‘BLOGGING IDEAS’ NOTE (ONLINE OR PAPER) 📔

When blogging you’ll have multiple times where you run out of ideas. To help overcome this, make a note of blog post ideas. 💕

THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU’RE GOING TO WRITE ABOUT ✏️

My blog (I think) falls under life-style blogging theme and I write all different types of content. Think about what type of content you want to write.

DESIGN A LOVELY WEBSITE 🖌

When you start your blog, before you publish a post, make sure you create a nice website. Therefore, when bloggers view your website, they’ll have an aesthetically pleasing website.

INCLUED A FEATURED IMAGE IN EACH POST ❤️

When you create/ use a featured image in each post, it sets a layout and a routine in your post.

UPDATE OLDER CONTENT 💜

If your followers stumble upon older content, you want it to be as updated as possible and be lovely. ✨

Welcome or welcome back to flora’s week show! A few days ago, I sent out a poll asking what you liked to see on my blog and one of the best results were blogging advice posts. Thank you all so much for voting because it really helps me out alot. 💕

In today’s post, I’m going to be sharing some more blogging advice for some new bloggers round the blogosphere. 🌏 I hope this advice helps you all ❤

START BLOGGING FOR YOURSELF NOT FOLLOWERS: ❤️

When you start blogging for yourself and work really hard on your posts, other people will start to notice your blog and enjoy your content. 📖

SCHEDULE POSTS IN ADVANCE: 💛

Consistency is key so make sure you plan and schedule in advance when you have time. Having a certain day to post each week / how often you post. 💞

MAKE YOUR BLOG UNIQUE TO YOU: 💚

Make sure you don’t copy anyone’s ideas without mentioning the original owner. 😇

AVOID LONG CHUNKS OF TEXT: 💙

Avoid long, hard to read text because readers don’t want to read huge chunks of text.

WRITE ABOUT YOUR PASSION: 💜

Write about what you love and know about. When you do this, you can blog to your full potential and your readers will love it.
