So, in today’s post, I’m going to be sharing how I write my posts from scratch (Images, text, etc.) 😍 So without further ado, let’s dive into this post!

💫 💫 💫

I use ‘Canva’ for my images and I’ve got some helpful tips for you! Personally, I use a mix of templates and images from scratch. 😂 I love canva and really recommend it. 💕

  • When your in a rush and don’t have time to make a featured image from scratch, use a canva template and customise it. 😇
  • Use some helpful ‘Elements’. Evin has a great post on ‘Living the Blogging Life’ Which you can check out here.

The very first thing I do In the whole ‘Blogging process’ is planning. Planning is really important and comes in many different aspects. For example, one brief outline of a post written down on a piece of paper or a notes app can help you when writing. I use a notebook to get down ideas when I think of them and then expand. Here are some tips: 💕

-Write down key info for the post ✏️

-Think of title ideas ✨

Generally, planning helps me so, so much when writing a blog post.

💜 What Do I Do While Writing Posts To Stay Focused? 💜

I find that sitting down and writing a post all in one chunk of time is really hard. 😂 So many distractions, my phone is just sitting there… 🙄. To begin I put on some tunes 🎶 and then look over my outline and I find words (did I say that right 😂.)

How to Kickstart your day and be productive! | Flora’s Week Show 💜

Hello friends and blogging beans! Welcome or welcome back to flora’s week show! If you are new here, hello my name is flora and this is a blog that I write on every time I feel inspired. 💕 How has your week gone so far? Mine has been awesome!

Today, I started school again! 🙈 Ahhh! So I am up really early. 😂 And it’s in person so… It’s currently 7am and I got up at like 5:45am. School days are so early, and I’m really tired. 😆 So I’m going to be giving you some tips on how to wake up and feel refreshed in the morning. Without further ado, let’s get into it! 💫

🌙 🌙 🌙

Don’t press snooze and sleep in! – This is the most important tip! If you do this once, you won’t stop and you’ll never roll out of that cosy, warm blanket. 😌

Do morning Stretches- Make sure to stretch in the morning to wake up your body and your mind.

Let some light in or turn on lights– Right now, in the UK it’s winter which means it’s dark from 3:45PMish until 8:00 – 8:30amish. So as soon as I wake up I turn on my LEDs and make brightness wake me up. Which is annoying sometimes. 🙄

Make up a routine for every day– Follow a routine and continue doing it. Make it a habit (habits on average take around 90 days to grow and establish.)

Wake up and smile– Help yourself to be happy by smiling and feeling proud of the day. 💜

Get 7-8 hours of quality sleep each night– For me personally, when I have lots of quality sleep, I feel so much better in the morning.

Drink a glass of water in the morning when you wake up– Drink some H20 when you wake up because I think sleep makes you dehydrated (I think) 😅.

💫 💫 💫

Thank you so much for reading! 📚 You’re amazing! Have the best day you can and tell me in the comments how you wake up in the morning,

“Heart Stopper” Book 1 mini Review | Flora’s Week Show (Book reviews w/ flora) : )

I love this image ❤

Hello, blogging beans! 💕 How are you? If you are interested, I’m really good and so far having a great year. So far, I’ve been completing one of my main new years’ goals which are going out for a walk every day. ✨

In today’s post, I’m going to be reviewing one of my favourite books that I love. I’ve read the whole series and it was wonderful! The true connection between the two main characters was written wonderfully. 💜 But, without further ado, let’s get into this post. 💫

Blurb: ✨

Charlie and Nick are at the same school, but they’ve never met … until one day when they’re made to sit together. They quickly become friends, and soon Charlie is falling hard for Nick, even though he doesn’t think he has a chance.

But love works in surprising ways, and Nick is more interested in Charlie than either of them realised.

💫 💫 💫

From the moment I picked up this book, I couldn’t put it down and read it in one night. I loved the graphic novel aspect because graphic novels are amazing in my opinion. I picked up this book in my school library and as soon as I read the first page I was hooked. As Charlie and Nick’s love grows, my love for the books progressed. I recommend this book series so much! 👑

*There’s an exciting post coming out tomorrow!*

How to take effective notes for classes (Blogmas week 2)| Flora’s Week Show 📝

Photo by Radu Andrei Razvan on

*This post was written earlier and will now be a blogmas post (this blogmas thing is totally working 😂.) Anyway, enjoy the post! ✨

Hello, Faunas! 💕 Welcome to flora’s week show! In today’s post, I’m going to be talking about and giving some advice on making notes / revising for tests or topics. 📝 I hope that you enjoy this post and find these helpful!

Make flashcards with answers and questions or you could make flashcards with key facts/words on them. Go over these over and over.

When I study after taking notes, I test myself just to make sure I got that subject. Another way to do this is to write questions down and then at the end of your study session revisit and answer them. ✏️

One tip to go with this also is to set realistic goals with small steps. Personally, this really motivates me to do little steps towards a big goal.

Make sure you avoid distractions. A helpful tip is to download an app to block all the distracting apps. 💕

Review and revise: ❤️

Look through your old work/notes and highlight the key information and revise. This is what I do when I start studying. 💜

🎄 🎄 🎄

Thanks so much for reading the second blogmas post, Blogging Beans!! 💜 I hope you have a wonderful week and enjoy your day,

The Great things that come from blogging | Flora’s Week Show 💫

This is beautiful!! 😍

Hello friends! Welcome back to flora’s week show! 💙 How has your day gone/going? In today’s post, I’m going to be sharing some of the most amazing things about blogging (in my opinion.) ✨ After reading this post, if you have any other things that I didn’t mention, then comment below. I hope you enjoy!

By the way, I took the photo above on an early morning. ☀️

When you grow and audience, you also grow a community which is truly magical. ❤

Linking to my other point, when you find other people’s blogs and enjoy reading other people’s content, it makes blogging so much better. You can interact with other blogs too. 💞

When blogging, it feels really nice to express yourself. Maybe through your hobbies, love for writing and generally what you want. ✨

If you really like a certain subject (such as a hobby, pets, ect) do some research about it, and write a post about it. When you know more about a subject, it’s easier to write about it. 💡

Results to the poll:

Hello Fauna! ❤ Yes, indeed. I did just call you all Fauna (s). I got this lovely idea from @Corrie. S.P. Corrie is an amazing blogger with a true passion for blogging. Thank you so, so much for this wonderful idea. ❤️

Welcome or welcome back to flora’s week show! A few days ago, I sent out a poll asking what you liked to see on my blog and one of the best results were blogging advice posts. Thank you all so much for voting because it really helps me out alot. 💕

In today’s post, I’m going to be sharing some more blogging advice for some new bloggers round the blogosphere. 🌏 I hope this advice helps you all ❤

When you start blogging for yourself and work really hard on your posts, other people will start to notice your blog and enjoy your content. 📖

Consistency is key so make sure you plan and schedule in advance when you have time. Having a certain day to post each week / how often you post. 💞

Make sure you don’t copy anyone’s ideas without mentioning the original owner. 😇

Avoid long, hard to read text because readers don’t want to read huge chunks of text.

Write about what you love and know about. When you do this, you can blog to your full potential and your readers will love it.
